TRIMBLE PRO XRS with TDC1 Data Collector

With Nav. version 1.21 and higher

Press CONFIG GPS key on the TDC-1.
Select "GPS".
Press "ENTER" key.
Select "ROVER OPTIONS".
Press "ENTER" key.
Press RTCM softkey.
Press DGPS softkey to access the "INTEGRATED DGPS" form.
Set the following fields:
Source : Satellite
Provider: OmniStar.
Satellite: OmniStar satellite and/or beam that will cover your area. (See Satellite Chart)
Frequency:This will list the frequency of the DGPS satellite you specified in the satellite field.
Data Rate: This should update to the Data Rate of the satellite you specified in the satellite field.
Press "OK" key to accept the "INTEGRATED DGPS" form.

OmniSTAR MUST NOW SEND AN ACTIVATION CODE (RSOC-Type) OVER THE SATELLITE. IT CAN TAKE UP TO 30 MINUTES FOR ACTIVATION TO BE COMPLETE. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THE SYSTEM BE LEFT "ON" UNTIL THE RECEIVER POSITIONS DIFFERENTIALLY.

To Check DGPS Status

Access the "GPS OPERATIONS" menu.
Select "DGPS STATUS". This form shows the current operating DGPS status of the PRO XRS receiver.

When the PRO XRS receiver starts positioning differentially, the letter R appears in the lower right hand corner of the TDC-1 screen.
